Writing in two anthologies, spring '26

Two new anthologies published this spring feature my work, and that of dozens of fine Canadian and American writers. One is a collection of 'poems for vanishing ice,' the other essays and poems by 'writers on estrangement.'

Sublime, edited by Yvonne Blomer and published by Caitlin Press, is poetry to honour water and ice, but also to stir us. As Jan Zwicky writers, "when we are stirred by lyric witness...we are bolstered in our attempts to act with care and compassion."

No Contact, edited by Jenny Bartoy for Catapult Press (NY), asks "who do we become, once untethered from our kin?" Writers from Michelle Dowd to Nick Flynn and Cheryl Strayed observe and reflect on kinship and how estrangement changes who we are. I'm pleased to have a selected of poetry in the anthology; most of selections are essays.

Both books are available now from independent bookstores across North America. And if you're interested in a signed copy, drop me a line and we can get one on its way to you.

Enjoy these important new anthologies.
