In his professional career as a communications and engagement consultant, and in his volunteer work with community organizations, Lorne Daniel has earned a reputation as a big-picture thinker and urban leader.  He is a strong advocate for rethinking our cities and for citizen-led grassroots urban innovation.

 

His work has received awards from The Canadian Institute of Planners and the International Downtown Association.

 

Lorne is the founder of Greater Victoria Placemaking Network and ReThink Red Deer.

 

Lorne received a City of Victoria Mayor’s Medal in 2015 for his volunteer work in community development.
